James G. Flaherty
Jim joined Anderson Byrd in 1985 and became a partner in 1990. His primary fields of practice are oil and gas law and public utility law. He typically represents oil and gas producers, intrastate natural gas pipeline companies, natural gas local distribution companies and electric utility companies before the Kansas Corporation Commission.
John L. Richeson
For more than 27 years, John served as attorney for the City of Ottawa. He has appeared before many state and federal agencies dealing with subjects involving taxation, environmental concerns, transportation, utilities, roads and highways, and the regulation of pharmacists. John is also a trained mediator.
R. Scott Ryburn
Scott began as an associate with the firm in and then spent two years as an Assistant County Attorney in 1993-94. Since his return to the firm in 1995, Scott has concentrated his practice in areas of personal injury, wrongful death, insurance law, municipal law, banking and commercial litigation.
